English

English is the vehicular language of these notes. It’s not my native language, but I feel like it kind of is becoming one, because my first contacts (my first real contacts, at least, even before meeting someone in regular conversation) with the language came from a computer. By the time I spoke with the first person in english in a day-to-day situation I had absorbed a culture that revolved around this single language.

So, why write this personal space in english?

• It is de fact the lingua franca of internet
• But also: it has become a vehicle of expression of mine, and kind of second nature (despite errors). Ironically, I speak better english than hungarian, even though the latter is my mother tongue.
• Historical reasons also play a factor: I started this webpage as a way to showcase my CV. Now it has mutated into… well, whatever this is.
